Tips for 9 bands in IELTS Reading

Today’s I’m going to share that it is possible to get the highest score of Band 9 in the Reading area ! I’ll let you know how. It ‘s tough but not really impossible to get the highest score of 9.
Then let’s look at it now:

TIP 1. Efficient time management!

The reading module is a battle against time.
Only thorough practice can save you time. The reading section consists of three sections- Sections 1,2, and 3. So, you might think it would be possible to divide 20 minutes for each section, but this is a wrong strategy ! So what do you do? The following strategy may however work -Assigning last 30 minutes to Section 3 and giving Section 1 and Section 2 a maximum of 20 minutes !
Now 20 minutes can be a tight time.
It would be tight for those who read all the passages, right?
We can actually skip reading the passages word by word as we have the skills of Skimming and Scanning !
Of course, you need enough practice.
Therefore, if you complete Section 1 and Section 2 within 20 minutes, and then solve Section 3 for 30 minutes ,

You will have at least 5 to 10 minutes left, during which
time you can go through the problems once more and review the fixes !

TIP 2. Don’t waste time reading text!

As I mentioned earlier, Skimming and Scanning are very important
because Sections 1 and 2 need to be completed within 20 minutes. First, take a quick look at the problem and key keywords
Only find and check! Then move on to the passage and check the keywords you checked in the question or synonyms with them! Similarly, Section 3 needs to be done. So, not reading all the
passages but reading the problem first and finding and solving only the parts related to the problem is the key to save time.

TIP 3. Don’t think too deeply about the problem!

In a word, it means that you should not stay on a problem for too long, do not think too much even if you are confused , and solve the problem according to your intuition. Actually, 60 minutes is never a long time, so you don’t even have time to worry about problems! Rather, if you focus too much on one problem, it can become stressful and you may not be able to solve other problems properly.

TIP 4. Make an incorrect answer note!

Even if you practice and practice according to the tips above, the most important thing is still to keep a track of your mistakes.
You need to keep seeing what’s wrong, right? If you keep looking at what’s wrong, accept it and correct it, you ‘ll be less likely to be wrong the next time you encounter the same type of problem again.
